Welcome to Your ARCH523 personal Wikipage!


The course wiki, www.ARCH523.wikispaces.com is where you will find information to help you through the course, such as assignments, presentations, articles, schedules, etc.

Your individual wikipage is where you will post your assignments for this course and where you will receive feedback on your progress. Participation is monitored and counts toward your class participation requirement.



Here are a few tips for using the wiki once you've created your profile:

INSTRUCTIONS for posting images & files
  1. click the "Edit this Page" button to the right of the page
  2. click the small square picture of a tree in the "editor" bar above to insert images or files
  3. In the heading "Upload New File" click "Browse" to find the photo/file, click "upload" to load it onto the wiki
  4. a thumbnail of the photo will appear highlighted under the heading "Insert a File", click it to insert.
  5. if you want, add a caption in the pop-up window
  6. click "Save" when you are done posting/arranging your files - this saves your changes and close the editor

INSTRUCTIONS for arranging uploaded images
  1. while in "Editor" you can re-size the image by grabbing its corner and dragging it to the size you want
  2. you can move the image by dragging it to a new location
  3. click "Save" when you are done posting/arranging your files - this saves your changes and close the editor

INSTRUCTIONS for adding text/comments
  1. click the "Edit" button at the upper right of the page
  2. add text by simply typing in this window
  3. you can format your text (bold, size, etc) using the "Editor" bar above
  4. click "Save" when you are done - this saves your changes and close the editor

INSTRUCTIONS for changing content previously added
  1. click the "Edit this Page" button to the right of the page
  2. highlight the content you wish to modify and delete using the "delete" or "backspace" key
  3. OR place your cursor where you would like to add text, then type new text
  4. click "Save" when you are done - this saves your changes and close the editor
